Dan Wellman lives with his wife and three children in Southampton, England. By day his mild-mannered alter-ego works for a small, yet accomplished e-commerce agency. By night he battles the forces of evil, fighting for truth, justice, and less-intrusive Javascript

Welcome to danwellman.co.uk - the personal site for author and web developer Dan Wellman. He specialises in the use of JavaScript libraries such as the YUI and jQuery, and has written several books which teach how to get started with either of these fantastic frameworks.

Dan is also a prolific writer of tutorials and reviews and is currently writing content for web sites such as DevShed in the US, and DMX Zones in the Netherlands, as well as UK based gaming magazines CAP and iGaming. He's been writing in this capacity for approximately 5 years.

This site is intented to showcase some of Dan's work, including articles that he has written, code examples, widgets he's made and other associated projects that he has worked or is working on.
